My vote is for Ethan if it’s a boy and Alexandra if it’s a girl. perhaps both when it’s twins…not sure what Cindie sees wrong with Poop and Scoop, but c’est la vie.
Jess is voting for Ashton if it’s a boy (I feel like there may be some bias towards this)…and if it’s a girl, she likes Claire.
Since I’m actually blood related, my vote counts twice.
My vote is also Ethan for a boy. Second place for a boy is Ryan.
For a girl, I love the name Claire. However, I think the baby is going to be a girl and her name will be Katherine!!!!
My vote is for Addison (since Katherine is not on the list) and Ethan
For girl I like Addison; for boy Ethan.
Loving Addison!
Cindie & John,
I think for the boys names: Ethan & Daniel sound best with your last name.
For the girls; I like Claire.
Best to you both!
Looks like Claire is also very popular!
not sure I’m digging Addison. Addie would inevitably become the nickname. Nah… But I do like claire and still see nothing wrong with Katherine.
oh, and I still like Alexandra.
I am with Chris. I think you should consider Claire.
First of all, I am slow to figure things out - CONGRATULATIONS - AWESOME!!!
now, this is probably all obvious, but …
Consider who you might want to honor by using their name, like an ancestor of some kind. But there’s lots of reasons why you might not want to take that route too..
You’ve probably already looked up what the names mean, but maybe some appeal for those reasons?
In any case, always check the initials to make sure you’re happy with that.
OK done with the obvious advice.
So for a boy I vote for Ryan, I really like that name (it’s my grandson’s). But, maybe that’s also a sign it’s too popular? If not Ryan, then probably John. It’s John’s name, and I think its a really great book in the Bible.
For a girl I vote for Alexandra. I just think its a really beautiful name, and Alex is a pretty cool nickname for a girl, gives her some flexibility with her identity. She could be a TomBoy type if she wanted, but insist on Alexandra when she wants to express her feminism in a stronger way. I’m probably getting way too deep here. Second choice, Victoria.
I’m not blood related, so, it’s oky-doky with me if you invalidate my actual official vote and just consider me a lobbyist.
Thanks for asking!

p.s.: is there an award for longest vote?
